The upcoming Earth Observations (EO) Stakeholder Engagement Workshop is organised by the South Africa African National Space Agency (SANSA) in collaboration with the National Earth Observations and Space Secretariat (NEOSS).
The workshop will take place on 15 February 2024, at the CSIR International Convention Centre (CSIR ICC), in Pretoria.
The Earth Observations Stakeholders Workshop aims to bring together key players in the Earth Observation domain to share insights on ongoing projects, with a particular focus on the NEO Frontiers initiative.
SANSA and NEOSS recognise the importance of collaboration and information exchange to harness the full potential of Earth Observation.
OUR PARTNERS
SANSA
SANSA was created to promote the use of space and strengthen cooperation in space-related activities while fostering research in space science, advancing scientific engineering through developing human capital, and supporting industrial development in space technologies.
NEOSS
NEOSS serves as a strategic coordination initiative for South Africa’s Earth observations (SA-GEO), satellite navigations (SA-GSN), and communications (SA-GSC) communities. Established by the DSI and hosted by the CSIR, its primary objective is to promote enhanced access and utilisation of information and data, for progressive socio-economic development and benefit.
